I met my wonderful husband Doug in college, and the rest, as they say, is history. Our journey took us to Poland during the communist years, a time filled with unique experiences and unforgettable memories. Together, we've raised three amazing children and traveled around the country, following Doug's career, creating a tapestry of adventures that we cherish.

My childhood friend Nancy will always have a special place in my heart. She was part of what made my childhood wonderful in Western New York, as we roamed free on the banks of Lake Erie and created our own play and wonder-filled days. We were mascots in my older sister's high school cheering squad.
